Željana Duplančić was born in 1989 in Split, Croatia.
From very early age she was sailing with her family on their 30 ft boat and fell in love, from the first moment, with the sea and sailing, which has become her passion today.
In order to finance her studies at University of Split, she started working as a hostess on boats. Soon after realizing how much she liked preparing food for ever changing guests from different cultures she decided to turn her hobbies - sailing and cooking - into her profession and future.
Seven years have passed since then and she has been working as a professional hostess & chef on sailing boats, catamarans and power yachts, yet to get any complaints from the many different guests she worked for. Drawn to the art of cooking, she graduated from cooking academy “Wallner” and has worked in many Croatian restaurants.
She is hard-working and accessible, organized and has an eye for details. As a passionate cook, she will soon drag you into her innovative dishes. She is fluent in English & Italian and her goal is to make your holiday the best you ever had - a truly royal experience.
WHAT MAKES ME HAPPY BESIDES MY WORK, SEA & BOATS: She is keen on sports (cycling, running), likes experimenting with food and collecting cooking recipes. Another passion is travelling the Globe, meeting other cultures and discovering foreign cuisines.
