Re: Trip on the Legendary, West Palm Beach to Exumas inAugust 2007
We have been boating in the Bahamas for over 50 years on alltypes of yachts. We must say that we’ve never had a better yachtingexperience than the ten days my wife and I spent on the Legendary this August.
Yacht – we found her to be very stable and an easy ride evenwhen the seas exceeded 5 feet on the crossing of the Gulf Stream. She isbeautifully and newly re-decorated and equipped living up in every way to herluxury super-yacht status. In addition, she has several features whichmake her unique and greatly enhanced our trip: (i) a folding swim platform over15’ wide with steps into the water providing both a perfect on/off for swimmingand a safe and easy access to the yacht’s tender – especially good as my wifehad broken her arm a few weeks before the trip and was in a sling; and (ii) afun movie theater on the top deck which the crew made into a gourmet dinnertheater under clear and calm skies for us.
Crew – it is unusual to find a crew so competent, and whichworks so well together. The Captain not only navigated with skill andfound the calmest routes, but also entertained us with jokes and magictricks. The Chef was superb turning out breakfast, lunch and dinner eachday which would make a Five Star restaurant proud. The steward was quick withour drink and even quicker in making sure our stateroom was always in showcondition. She also had a real talent for making the dinner table looklike it was set for royalty and to dress the table for special occasions. The Mates were always helpful and kept the vessel in Bristol condition at all times.
In short, a first class time which I would rate A+, andwe’ll look forward to another trip on the Legendary.

Good morning Madeline,
Iwanted to reach out to you and share my experience aboard the Legendary lastmonth. My husband and I spent 4 days on the boat and couldn’t have beenmore pleased.
The chef is extremely talented and the food was amazing. She asked us each morning what meals we would like to have on board and if there was something in particular we were looking for. The stew was very knowledgeable with proper service and quick to ask if there was something she could provide all while giving us privacy and space to relax. The captain was a perfect gentlemens.
Wewould definitely recommend this boat.
